4. According to the Preamble, extended service intervals may be permitted if the new and novel liferaft arrangements have proved to:

A) Have been manufactured within the previous 10 years B) Maintain the same standard as required by testing procedures during extended service intervals C) Be fitted with a hydrostatic release unit D) Be capable of being fully serviced on board the ship
