Section 6 Stabilizers

6.1 General

6.1.1 The stabilizer fins should be extended and thoroughly examined for signs of damage, corrosion, or any other significant defects.

6.1.2 Whilst the fins are extended, the stabilizer openings in the shell plating and the stabilizer fin boxes should also be examined for defects.
