5.1 Buckling requirements

5.1.1 The elastic critical buckling stress of the web plating of the primary steel support member is to be determined from Pt 3, Ch 4, 7.3 Elastic critical buckling stress 7.3.1 of the Rules and Regulations for the Classification of Ships, July 2022. Additional requirements for specific ship types are also to be complied with.
