Wave generation quality should be assessed for the waves
corresponding to the minimum and the maximum frequency used in the
tests. The wave elevation should be measured by wave probes positioned
at least 3 locations along the length of the basin, spanning the drift
range of the model. This should be done without the model because
the model can disturb incident waves. When the measured double amplitude
of the wave elevation converges to a certain value, this value should
be regarded as the wave height, H, for each position.
Variations in wave height and wave period should be within ±5%
among the different measured positions for the same signal.
