3.2 Scales and weightsfootnote

  3.2.1 Scales

  3.2.1.1 The scales used shall conform to the following requirements. On scales in use, the permissible variation at a load of 2,000 g shall be ± 2.0 g. The permissible variation on new scales shall be one half of this value. The sensibility reciprocalfootnote shall be not greater than twice the permissible variation.

  3.2.2 Weights

  3.2.2.1 The permissible variations on weights shall be as prescribed in the table below. The permissible variations on new weights shall be one half of the values in the table below.
