8 Identification of congestion

  8.1 Case 1: Congestion takes place on deck 5 (door 1 and stair A), deck 6 (door 1, stairs A and B), deck 7 (corridor 7 and stair C), deck 10 (stair C) and deck 9 (stair C). However, since the total time is below the limit (see paragraph 9.1 of this example) and no design modifications are needed.

  8.2 Case 2: Congestion takes place on deck 6 (stairs A, B and C) and deck 7 (stairs A, B and C). However, since the total time is below the limit (see paragraph 9.2 of this example) no design modifications are needed.
