0.0 Introduction

  0.1 This document is intended to address minimum fire protection performance, construction, and marking requirements, excluding fire performance, for water mist nozzles.

  0.2 Numbers in brackets following a section or subsection heading refer to the appropriate section or paragraph in the Standard for Automatic sprinkler systems - Part 1: Requirements and methods of test for sprinklers, ISO 6182-1.

  0.3 The requirements for automatically operating nozzles which involve release mechanism need not be met by nozzles of manually operating systems.
