|
| Wear protective clothing and
self-contained breathing apparatus.
|
| Emergency action in the event
of fire
|
| Use copious amounts of water,
which is best applied in the form of a spray to avoid disturbing the surface
of the material. The material may fuse or melt, in which condition
application of water may result in excessive scattering of molten materials.
Exclusion of air or the use of CO2 will not control the fire. Due
consideration should be given to the stability of the ship due to the effect
of accumulated water.
