3 General requirements

 The on-board plans aim at providing, in advance, to all involved in a probable emergency situation, identical detailed information on the ship, the company's emergency response team and the SAR services along the route. This will enhance mutual understanding, reduce the risk of confusion and save valuable time in any emergency situation.
