Scope

The purpose of the CEPAC2 notation is to enable compliance with the noise level limits and sound reduction indices set by Resolution MSC.337(91) – Adoption of the Code on Noise Levels on Board Ships – (Adopted on 30 November 2012)The Annex below is consolidated into Resolution MSC.337(91) to be demonstrated, together with comfort levels benchmarked against relevant National and International Standards. CEPAC1 provides an enhanced level of comfort exceeding these standards.
