"Separated from" foodstuffs.
Hold cleanliness
Clean and dry as relevant to the hazards of the cargo.
Weather precautions
This cargo shall be kept as dry as practicable before loading, during

|
Wear protective clothing and
self-contained breathing apparatus.
|
Emergency action in the event
of fire
|
Use copious quantities of water,
which is best applied in the form of a spray to avoid disturbing the surface
of the material. The material may fuse or melt, in which condition
application of water may result in extensive scattering of the molten
materials. Exclusion of air or the use of CO2 will not control
the fire. Due consideration should be given to the effect on the stability
of the ship due to accumulated water.
