1.7 Equipment

 The ship's cargo securing equipment should be:

  • available in sufficient quantity;
  • suitable for its intended purpose, taking into account the recommendations of the Cargo Securing Manual, if provided;
  • of adequate strength;
  • easy to use; and
  • well maintained.
