1.5 Casualties:

The Administration has a duty to conduct an investigation into any casualty occurring to any ships certified in accordance with this Code. Such an investigation may assist in determining what changes in the content of the code may be desirable. Casualty investigations should be carried out in accordance with the IMO Casualty Investigation Codefootnote and any applicable national legislation of the REG Member concerned.
