3.1 Definitions

 For the purpose of these Specifications:

  3.1.1 “Arrival ballast” means clean ballast as defined in Regulation 1(16) of Annex I of MARPOL 73/78.

  3.1.2 “Departure ballast” means ballast other than arrival ballast.
