Circular

 1 The Maritime Safety Committee, at its ninety-eighth session (7 to 16 June 2017), adopted, by resolutions MSC.423(98) and MSC.424(98), the amendments to the International Code of Safety for High-Speed Craft, 1994 (1994 HSC Code), and the International Code of Safety for High-Speed Craft, 2000 (2000 HSC Code), respectively, as set out in annexes 1 and 2.

2 In view of the above amendments which are expected to enter into force on 1 January 2020, Member States are invited to take action, as appropriate, pending the formal entry into force.

3 Member States are invited to bring the above information to the attention of all parties concerned.

4 This circular will remain effective until 1 January 2020.
