Circular

  1 The present circular is issued pursuant to the provisions of paragraph 6.3 of MSC.1/Circ.1307 on Guidance on the survey and certification of compliance of ships with the requirement to transmit LRIT information and contains the list of Application Service Providers authorized to conduct conformance tests and issue LRIT Conformance test reports on behalf of Administrations, as set out in the annex.

  2 The list set out in the annex includes, in particular, updated information provided by Azerbaijan, Iraq, Romania and Sierra Leone.

  3 This circular revokes MSC.1/Circ.1377/Rev.8 issued on 17 September 2012. Any reference to MSC.1/Circ.1377/Rev.8 or any of its previous versions should be read as reference to the present circular.

  4 SOLAS Contracting Governments are invited to bring the present circular to the attention of Administrations and port State control officers.
