Section 7 Approval Certificate
7.1 LR will issue a “Certificate of Approval” (see Figure 1.7.3 Certificate of Approval) giving general approval to the program when:
- the program’s calculations have been examined and found satisfactory, the program disk(s) have been reviewed and its operating functions considered satisfactory.
- the format of the user’s operations manual is considered satisfactory.
- details of the minimum hardware specification has been advised.
- details of any calculation tolerances and their specific values have been advised.
7.2 Each certificate issued will be valid for a period not exceeding five years after which time confirmation that the program remains unchanged will be required from the program supplier.
