3.1 Performance requirements

3.1.1 The performance requirements for each functional objective are listed, for example ‘divisions formed by bulkheads and decks are to prevent the passage of fire and smoke’. The performance requirements are independent of the technical or operational solution and have a qualitative character. Performance Requirements are equivalent to Tier 3 of the NSubC.
