Section 1 Introduction

1.1 General

1.1.1 Assessment for certification will involve a works inspection by a Surveyor and a test programme. The works inspection will be supported by the Surveyor collecting or the manufacturer providing beforehand supporting documentation. After completion of the inspection and a successful review of supporting documentation, the test programme can commence. Successful completion of both the works inspection and the test programme is a prerequisite for certification of the wire-gas combination.
