2.1 Functional objectives

2.1.1 The layout of different equipment and local control facilities shall be such that human operation is logical to embarked persons and can be performed without mistakes or violations.

2.1.2 Arrangements for control of machinery and equipment (including those for abnormal and emergency operation) shall not pose a risk to embarked persons.

2.1.3 Abnormal and emergency arrangements for machinery and equipment shall not pose a risk to embarked persons.
