Section 10 External atmosphere humidity

10.1 Functional objective

10.1.1 The submarine, systems, equipment and components shall be able to operate when exposed to the range of external atmospheric humidity which can be experienced by the submarine in all foreseeable operating conditions.

10.2 Performance requirements

10.2.1 The maximum and minimum static atmospheric external humidity shall be defined for areas of submarine operation.

10.2.2 The systems, equipment and components are to be verified as being effective and safe for the full range of external humidity.
