13.1 Longitudinal divisions

 The load (P) in kilonewtons per metre length of the divisions shall be taken as follows:

  • .1 Table A 13-1

  • .2 Linear interpolation within table A 13-1 may be used for intermediate values of B and for intermediate values of h when h is equal to or less than 6.0 m.

  • .3 For values of h exceeding 6.0 m the load (P) in kilonewtons per metre length of the divisions may be determined from table A 13-2 by entering with the ratio B/h and utilizing the formula:
