3 Design Data
3.1 Particulars to be submitted
3.1.1 Particulars submitted are to be sufficient to enable a proper assessment
of the intended operating conditions and loads to be made. Details will depend on
the type and intended service of the submersible or chamber, but will normally
include the following where applicable:
- Class notation desired maximum operating depth;
- Number of occupants, crew and passengers;
- Whether internally or remotely controlled and manoeuvred and by what
means;
- Proposed stability and buoyancy criteria.
