4.2 External Loads

  4.2.1 Where applicable, allowance should be made for temporary point loads. Such allowances should include at least the force exerted by a load (person) of 100 kg at mid-span on any pipe or more than 100 mm nominal outside diameter.

  4.2.2 Pipes should be protected from mechanical damage where necessary.
