1 Application

 For the purpose of SOLAS regulation XII/14, these requirements define the minimum required standards for the side structures within the cargo area of single-side skin bulk carriers of 150 m in length and upwards carrying solid bulk cargoes having a density of 1,780 kg/m3 and above, for them not to be subject to restrictions from sailing with any hold empty.
